Mexico, 2005

I have an avid interest in working with people from different cultures. In June of 2005, I had a chance to travel to Mexico and help out the citizens of Chicavasco. We shared cultures and languages, and I made many wonderful friends that I miss greatly.

I was able to publish these outreach efforts in La Voz, a bilingual newspaper, which can be linked below. Although I have a basic proficiency in Spanish, I cannot take credit for the article's translation. Nonetheless, it is my hope to one day be fluent in Spanish.
